تَزَوَّد مِنَ الشَّبعَانِ خَلفَكَ نَظرَةً

تَزَوَّد مِنَ الشَّبعَانِ خَلفَكَ نَظرَةً

فإِنَّ بِلادَ الُجوعِ حَيثُ تَميمُ

فإِنَّ بِلادَ الُجوعِ حَيثُ تَميمُ

Take, as provision, a glance at al-Shab‘an behind you;

for the lands of hunger lie where Tamim dwell.
