اجَتنِبshun أَخلاقَcharacter traits مَنone whom لَمdid not تَرضَهُyou approve of him
اجَتنِب أَخلاقَ مَن لَم تَرضَهُ
لاdo not تَعِبهُcriticize him ثُمَّthen تَقفُوyou follow فيin الأَثَرthe footsteps
لا تَعِبهُ ثُمَّ تَقفُو في الأَثَر
Shun the ways of anyone you do not approve of;
Shun the ways of one you do not approve of.
Do not fault him, then follow in his footsteps.
Do not criticize him and then follow in his footsteps.
