لَن أَذكُرَ النُّعمانَ إلاَّ بِصالِحٍ

لَن أَذكُرَ النُّعمانَ إلاَّ بِصالِحٍ

فأَنَّ لَهُ عِندي يديّا وأَنعما

فأَنَّ لَهُ عِندي يديّا وأَنعما

I shall never speak of al-Nu‘mān except with praise,

I shall speak of al-Nu‘man only with praise,

For he has bestowed favor and blessings upon me.
