البَسwear جَديدَكَyour new garment إنِّيindeed I لاَبِسٌwearing خَلَقيِmy worn-out garment
البَس جَديدَكَ إنِّي لاَبِسٌ خَلَقيِ
ولاand no جَديدَnew garment لِمنَfor whoever يَلبِسُwears الخَلَقَاthe worn-out garment
ولا جَديدَ لِمنَ يَلبِسُ الخَلَقَا
Wear your new garment; I am wearing my threadbare one,
Wear your new garment; I am wearing my worn-out one.
And there is no new garment for one who wears the worn-out one.
And there is no new garment for one who wears the worn-out one.
