  1. هو بحر من مائه ذائب التب

    ر وأدنى احجاره الياقوتُ

    He is a sea whose waters are molten gold,

    and whose least precious stones are rubies.

  2. لي طعام من داره وشراب

    ومقيل في ظله ومبيت

    I have food from his house, and drink,

    and a midday resting place in his shade, and lodging for the night.
