Royal Mansouri Brigades
Among them, the sword refuses to take the scabbard for a bed.
In them the sword refuses to see the sheath as a resting place
يؤيدهاsupports them عتبيan ʿUtbī عزمresolve مؤيدstrengthened
يؤيدها عتبي عزم مؤيد
بحزمwith firmness يخليleaves خلفهbehind him البيضthe white blades ظلعاlimping
بحزم يخلي خلفه البيض ظلعا
An ʿUtbī of strengthened resolve supports them,
Supported by my determination and strong resolve
With firmness that leaves white blades limping behind him.
With firmness leaving behind the white swords as plunder
إذاwhen أمرcommands الشيخthe elder الجليلthe venerable سيوفهhis swords
إذا أمر الشيخ الجليل سيوفه
هوتthey fell سجداprostrate للدارعينbefore the armor-clad وركعاand bowing
هوت سجدا للدارعين وركعا
When the venerable elder commands his swords,
When the venerable Sheikh commands his swords
They fall prostrate and bowing before the armor-clad.
They fall prostrating to the armored ones and bow down
يعودbecomes again بهاthrough them وجهthe face الخلافةof the caliphate أبيضاwhite
يعود بها وجه الخلافة أبيضا
بأبيضthrough a fair-faced man منamong أبناءthe sons of عتبةʿUtba أروعاawe-inspiring
بأبيض من أبناء عتبة أروعا
Through them the face of the caliphate grows white again,
With them the face of the Caliphate returns white
Through a fair-faced, awe-inspiring son of ʿUtba.
With one more white from the sons of Utba, more splendid
