  1. جد لي من النقل بذاك الذي

    منه خلقنا وإليه نصير

    Of the sweetmeats, grant me that which

    We were created from, and to which we shall return.

  2. كأنه للعين لما بدا

    أحجار كافور عليها عبير

    When it appeared, it seemed to the eye

    Like stones of camphor with fragrant powder upon them.
