وكان العرار راحة داع

أو مطا ساجد عليه ملاء

أو مطا ساجد عليه ملاء

And the oxeye flower was a supplicant’s palm,

The bare ground was a place of rest

Or a prostrate worshipper’s back, with mantles upon it.

Or a prostrating carpet with angels upon it
