And a woman baker who does not nourish the thin flatbreads [wording unclear],
A bakery that does not feed thin bread
Showed us something wondrous in bread.
Show us from the dough a wondrous thing
تناولshe takes بيضwhite ones كتابbook (unclear here) العجينthe dough
تناول بيض كتاب العجين
فتنسجthen she weaves فيin الوقتthe moment منهاfrom them ثياباgarments
فتنسج في الوقت منها ثيابا
She takes the white [pieces] of dough’s “book” [wording unclear],
Take the eggs of the book of dough
Then straightaway weaves garments from them.
And weave from it, in time, clothes
وتأتيand she brings بهاwith them كصفاحlike the broad surfaces of الغديرthe pool
وتأتي بها كصفاح الغدير
قدalready كونhas formed القطرthe rain فيهاin them قباباdomes
قد كون القطر فيها قبابا
And brings them forth like the broad surfaces of a pool,
And bring them like the bread pan
Where rain has fashioned domes.
