لحا اللهُ ذي الدنيا مُناخاً لراكبٍ

لحا اللهُ ذي الدنيا مُناخاً لراكبٍ

فكلُّ بعيد الهِم فيها مُعذَّبُ

فكلُّ بعيد الهِم فيها مُعذَّبُ

May God curse this world as a halting place for a rider;

May God make this life a rest stop for the traveler

for everyone with far-reaching aspirations is tormented in it.

For every distant-minded person in it is tormented
