أُقَلِّلُI make little of ماwhat بيis within me فيكfor you وهوand it is كثيرmuch
أُقَلِّلُ ما بي فيك وهو كثير
وأجُرand I draw forth دمعيmy tears فيكfor you وهوand it is غزيرcopious
وأجُر دمعي فيك وهو غزير
I make light of what I suffer for you, though it is great.
I understate what's in you, though it's much
And I draw forth my tears for you, though they are copious.
And hold back my tears for you, though they're plentiful

وعندي دموع لو بَكَيتُ ببعضها
لفاضَتwould overflow بُحورٌseas بعدهنafter them بحورseas
لفاضَت بُحورٌ بعدهن بحور
And I have tears—if I wept with some of them,
If I were to cry some of the tears I have for you
Seas would overflow, followed by more seas.
Oceans would overflow, then oceans more
