كما ترى حَيَّرني

شرَّدني عن وطني

شرَّدني عن وطني

As you see, he has bewildered me;

As you see, it confuses me,

he has driven me away from my homeland.

Makes me wander from my home,

إذا تغيبتُ بدا

إذا تغيبتُ بدا

وإن بدا غيَّبَني

وإن بدا غيَّبَني

When I disappear, he appears;

If I'm absent it appears,

and if he appears, he makes me disappear.

And if it appears, hides me.
