سواك من الورى إلا بدا لي
My life for you! Whenever the thought comes to me of seeking a noble man
May I be your ransom! Never have I thought of seeking a noble man
besides you among humankind, you appear before me.
other than you among humankind without changing my mind.
وإنكand indeed you are منهمone of them وكذاكand likewise أيضاًalso
وإنك منهم وكذاك أيضاً
منfrom الماءwater الفرائدprecious jewels واللآليand pearls
من الماء الفرائد واللآلي
Indeed, you are one of them; and likewise, too,
And you are one of them; so, too,
from water come matchless gems and pearls.
are precious jewels and pearls from water.
وتسكنand you dwell دارهمtheir home وكذلكand likewise سكنىdwelling
وتسكن دارهم وكذلك سكنى
الحجارةstones والزمرّدand emeralds فيin الجبالِthe mountains
الحجارة والزمرّد في الجبالِ
You dwell in their abode; just so is the dwelling
And you dwell in their home, just as
of stones and emeralds in the mountains.
