دَعَتهُsummons him إِلَيهاto it حاجَةٌa need أَوor تطَرُّبُyearning
دَعَتهُ إِلَيها حاجَةٌ أَو تطَرُّبُ
If a man’s appointed death lies in a town,
When a man's death is to occur in a town,
When one's dove is in a far-off land
some need—or pursuit of pleasure—calls him there.
A need or yearning summons him there.
And longing or idle fancy summons it home,
