ملك كأن الموت يتبع قوله

حَتى يُقالَ تُطيعُهُ الأَقدارُ

حَتى يُقالَ تُطيعُهُ الأَقدارُ

A king—as though death follows his command,

A king, as though death follows his word,

until it is said that the decrees of fate obey him.

so that it is said: “The fates obey him.”
