أَرادَ اللَهُ أَن يُخزي جَميلاً
فَسَلَّطَنيso He gave me power عَلَيهِover him بِأَرجانِin Arrajan
فَسَلَّطَني عَلَيهِ بِأَرجانِ
God wished to disgrace Jamil,
God wanted to humiliate the beautiful one
God willed that Jamil be put to shame,
so He gave me power over him in Arrajan.
So He unleashed me upon him with my poems
So He unleashed me upon him in Arjan.
