مَولاي يا رَبَّ اليَرا

مَولاي يا رَبَّ اليَرا

عَة وَالبَراعَة وَالفَصاحَه

عَة وَالبَراعَة وَالفَصاحَه

My lord, O master of the

My Lord, O Lord of courage

quill, of literary skill and eloquence.

And skill and eloquence

فيكَ العَوارِف وَالمَعا

فيكَ العَوارِف وَالمَعا

رف وَاللَطافَة وَالرَجاحَه

رف وَاللَطافَة وَالرَجاحَه

In you are gracious favors and

In You are the gnostics and the wise

learning, refinement, and sound judgment.

And subtlety and balance

وَبِكَ المَكارِم وَالكَرا

وَبِكَ المَكارِم وَالكَرا

ئم وَالعَزائِم وَالسَماحَه

ئم وَالعَزائِم وَالسَماحَه

And in you are noble deeds and

And in You are generosity and valor

noble qualities, firm resolves, and generosity.

And resolve and magnanimity

عَهدي بِهِمَّتِكَ العَلِيَّةِ إِن

عَهدي بِهِمَّتِكَ العَلِيَّةِ إِن

تَأَبّى جامِحٌ راضَت جِماحَه

تَأَبّى جامِحٌ راضَت جِماحَه

I know your lofty resolve: if

I trust in Your lofty resolve, if

a headstrong one balks, it tames his unruliness.

A raging torrent refuses, calm its tempest

فَعَلى مَ أُخِّرَ مَطلَبي

فَعَلى مَ أُخِّرَ مَطلَبي

بَل سَيّدي أَرجو نَجاحَه

بَل سَيّدي أَرجو نَجاحَه

Why, then, has my request been delayed?

So whatever my request is delayed

Rather, my lord, I hope for its fulfillment.

Rather my master I hope it succeeds
