ووقاك الله وعثاء السفر

May God watch over what you have left behind,

May Allah protect the one you left behind

And may God shield you from the hardships of travel.

إنني أشكر ما أوليتني

إنني أشكر ما أوليتني

لم يضع حسن بلاء من شكر

لم يضع حسن بلاء من شكر

Indeed, I am grateful for what you have bestowed upon me;

I give thanks for what you have bestowed on me;

I am thankful for how you treated me

Kind service to one who is grateful has not gone to waste.

Whoever gives thanks lets no good deed go to waste.

No blessing is placed without gratitude
