Until the Tigris flowed in radiance,

And the loftiest peaks were canopied with light.

And the peaks were illuminated by the light

Clouds of smoke, and sparks ascending,

The clouds of smoke ascended and the sparks soared

And the thunder of music, and a rain of joy.

وما زال يعلو عجاج الدخا

Then the light gilded them until they blazed

Whose gold the light kindled
