مقبلة بشفاه الأماني

مقبلة بشفاه الأماني

And she, clasped beneath the bosom of night,

And tucked under the wing of nightfall

Kissed by the lips of wishes;

With the lips of wishes drawn near

تروق زهيراً أزاهيرها

تروق زهيراً أزاهيرها

ويعشو إلى ضوئها الأعشيان

ويعشو إلى ضوئها الأعشيان

Her blossoms delight Zuhayr,

Her blossoms delight in the morning light

And the two A‘shās peer toward her light.

And the night birds revel in her cheer
