ومدحand praising غيركanyone but you ذنبa sin لاnot يقالis pardoned وماand what
ومدح غيرك ذنب لا يقال وما
نصوغهwe compose it فيكin your honor تهليلproclaiming God's oneness وتحميدُand praising God
نصوغه فيك تهليل وتحميدُ
And praising anyone but you is a sin not pardoned; and what
To praise another is a sin beyond words, and
we compose in your honor is proclaiming God's oneness and praising Him.
Whatever we say to glorify You is but praise and glorification.
فعشso live أعشI shall live فيin ذرىshelter رحبspacious ودمand endure تدمshall endure الthe
فعش أعش في ذرى رحب ودم تدم ال
خيراتblessings ليfor me وابقand remain يبقshall remain المجدthe glory والجودand the generosity
خيرات لي وابق يبق المجد والجود
So live, and I shall live in ample shelter; endure, and the
So live on, live on in vast plains and let
blessings shall endure for me; remain, and glory and generosity shall remain.
Goodness flow for me, and may glory and generosity remain.
