If ever a day of gladness passes for a man,
When a day passes for a man without good tidings
its most precious part is what remains in remembrance.
His soul had not been mindful of remembrance

And a day we gave thanks in, with the prime of youth
and the outset of a life of ease, the hand of Time,
And the forthcoming of a plentiful life, time gave generously

We arose early with the branded one, a beautiful landscape
on that day, and ranged amid its radiant beauties.
With it, we wandered through its beautiful flowers

I remembered covenants in the sanctuary other than what you see

So in the heart from the recollection is flaming embers

And the hidden saying unveiled the superficial matter
