I have not forgotten when I set out for the hills,

seeking fulfillment of a familiar pledge there,

while winter had arrived with the might of its thunder,

unsheathing lightning bolts in the east as swords.

And pearls scattered from the tears of the clouds,

becoming earrings for the ears of the boughs.
