اكتب محاسن ما ترى

واحفظ محاسن ما كتبتَه

واحفظ محاسن ما كتبتَه

Write down the finest of what you see;

وأدرْ على الأسماع إن

حاضرت أحسنَ ما حفظتَه

حاضرت أحسنَ ما حفظتَه

And pass on to listening ears, if

And recite to all ears if

you speak in company, the best of what you have memorized.
