حقاٌ يقيني بِرب لا شريك له

حقاٌ يقيني بِرب لا شريك له

ولا وزيراً ولا أماً ولا ولدا

Truly, my certainty is in a Lord who has no partner,

My firm belief in the One God who has no partner,

Nor a minister, nor a mother, nor a child.

No minister, nor mother, nor child.

يا واحداً أحدا فرداً أيا صمدا

يا واحداً أحدا فرداً أيا صمدا

أنت المُهيمن إن دهر عليّ عدا

أنت المُهيمن إن دهر عليّ عدا

O One, Unique and Alone, O Eternal Refuge!

O One, Only One, Singular, O Eternal Refuge,

You are the Guardian if time assails me.

You are the All-Dominating, even if time has turned against me.

أنت المُجير لمن قد جاء مُفتقراً

أنت المُجير لمن قد جاء مُفتقراً

بِباب جودك يهفو أذرعاً ويدا

بِباب جودك يهفو أذرعاً ويدا

You are the giver of refuge to whoever has come in need,

You are the Protector, for whoever comes seeking refuge,

At the door of Your bounty, yearning with arms and hand.

At Your door of generosity, spreading his arms and hands.

ربي بجودك فالأكوان عامرة

ربي بجودك فالأكوان عامرة

قد جُدت حتى على من ينكر الأبدا

قد جُدت حتى على من ينكر الأبدا

My Lord, through Your bounty the worlds flourish.

My Lord, through Your generosity, the universe flourishes,

You have been generous even to those who deny eternity.

You have been generous, even to those who deny eternity.

أنت الذي صُنت في الإسراء عزتنا

أنت الذي صُنت في الإسراء عزتنا

فصن لوجهي عزاً منك معتمدا

فصن لوجهي عزاً منك معتمدا

You are the One who safeguarded our honor in the Night Journey.

You, who protected our dignity during the Night Journey,

So preserve for my face an honor from You on which I can rely.

So protect my dignity, through Your aid I rely on.

إياك نسأل لا نرجو سواك ولا

إياك نسأل لا نرجو سواك ولا

يَمنُن علينا الذي للمال قد عَبَدا

يَمنُن علينا الذي للمال قد عَبَدا

You alone we ask; we hope in none but You, and let not

We ask only You, we hope for none but You,

the one who has worshiped wealth bestow favors upon us.

And scorn those enslaved by wealth.

كُنا ضِعافاً وعز الله ناصرُنا

كُنا ضِعافاً وعز الله ناصرُنا

يا بشر من قد غدا بالله معتقدا

يا بشر من قد غدا بالله معتقدا

We were weak, and God's might was our defender.

We were weak, but God was our helper,

O gladness of whoever has become a believer in God!

Good tidings to those who make God their creed.

جُد لي بدُنياي ياربي بميسرة

جُد لي بدُنياي ياربي بميسرة

وكن بأخراي يا مولاي لي سندا

وكن بأخراي يا مولاي لي سندا

Grant me ease in my worldly life, O my Lord,

Provide me, my Lord, an easy living in this life,

And be my support in my hereafter, O my Master.

And in the Hereafter, my Master, be my pillar of strength.
