آفةُ العَقلِ في اتِّهام النوايا
وادِّعاءِand alleging السِّقامillness عندamong الصِّحاحِthe healthy
وادِّعاءِ السِّقام عند الصِّحاحِ
The mind's bane lies in impugning intentions,
Accusing others’ intentions is the mind’s vice,
and alleging illness among the healthy.
Claiming illness when one's healthy and bright.
إنif يكنis جُلُّmost of مانراهwhat we see صواباright
إن يكن جُلُّ مانراه صوابا
فلماذاthen why التفتيشprobing فيinto الأرواحِsouls ؟!
فلماذا التفتيش في الأرواحِ ؟!
If most of what we see is right,
If all we see is right, so we surmise,
then why probe into souls?!
Why delve into souls to shed light?
